“Yeah, Sora, you look really busy right now.” Kairi responded sarcastically. “And yes, you’ve gotten taller, but your personality hasn’t changed at all.” She ruffled his spiky hair playfully. “And I’m not up to anything, really, just walking around.”

“I’m glad you noticed Kairi!” Sora said poking the girl “Good, glad to hear I got taller otherwise I would be Jimmney’s size….maybe…ok maybe Donald.” Sora put his head down as Kairi ruffled his spiky hair “Hey you! Oh just walking around alright well let’s do something together then silly I can’t let my best friend do nothing and especially alone! Come on” Sora placed his hand out.

While laying down a shadow emerged over him in a silhouette most familiar to him.

“Kairi…why are you blocking the sun over me?” Sora grinned as he knew it was Kairi even with his eyes closed.



Kairi couldn’t help but laugh when she saw Sora laying down on the beach. Quietly walking over, she decided to try and surprise him, but when she heard him say her name, she knew that he was aware of her. “I was just checking on my favorite lazy bum,” she said with a small laugh. “You really haven’t changed, have you?”

“Checking on your favorite lazy bum….well that must not be cause I mean I’m never lazy I’m always working….like right now….I think” Sora laughed and smiled at his friend. “Of course I’ve changed didn’t I get taller? I’m pretty sure I did” Sora said rolling over, dusting some sand off himself. “And what may I ask are you up to?”

“Amazing? Hmm…” Sora folded his arms thinking “I guess it would but no I’d be wayy to tired! I’ll go if you want to though alright?” Sora smiled, noting to himself he does go to bring a pillow. “Yea I know we haven’t seen each other in a long time…cause you’re always hiding that’s why silly! Me….? Hmm…very important work yep that’s it!” Sora said, as he remembered all he has done was nap over the time they haven’t seen each other.

“I don’t want torture you and your sleep Sora” she chuckled and added “So, don’t worry!” She was a little surprised at first, she was hiding herself? She didn’t notice it, maybe he was right, those days she used to draw in a place that she called “her secret place” “You think so? Uhm… Maybe you’re right, but Im a little busy completing a present Oh! But that’s a secret of course” she winked at Sora, putting her finger on her lips, and then just smiled at him cheerfully “Oh yeah? What kind of important job is that?”

“Hmm…” Sora placed his hand on his chin, not knowing if Namine meant don’t worry as you have to come or don’t worry as it was originally meant to be said. Sora took the former knowing that he must go if Namine wanted…the things he’d do. “Completing a present?” Sora eyes widened at the thought “Don’t worry it’s safe with me Sora grinned a bit as Namine winked at him. “Important job…oh you know….that stuff…” Sora scratched his head blushing as Namine just smiled at him cheerfully.
